Preface

The Sun Java^TM System Web Server man pages describe the Sun Java System Web Server command line interface (CLI). The administration commands allow you to administer the Web Server through the CLI.

Who Should Use This Book

This book is intended for Web Server administrators. This book assumes you are familiar with the following topics:

Installing software
Performing basic system administration tasks
Issuing commands in a terminal window

The following table describes the typographic changes that are used in this book.

Symbol Conventions

The following table explains symbols that might be used in this book.
