Chapter 1 Overview
The Sun JavaTM System Application Server Enterprise Edition 8.1 2005Q2 product
greatly simplifies the task of creating and administering Web services applications.
It provides superior performance, clustering, and high availability features
for scalable services that continue to operate despite software and hardware
faults. The Application Server provides a development path for web services that
simplifies the development process while providing uniquely flexible growth
opportunities.
