Preface

The SolarisTM 8 (SPARC® Platform Edition) 2/04 Release Notes contains installation problem details and other information that were not available until immediately before the release of the Solaris 8 2/04 operating environment.

The information in this document pertains to the SPARC platform. This information also pertains to both the 64–bit and 32–bit address spaces unless specified in a special chapter, section, note, bulleted item, figure, table, example, or code example.


Who Should Use This Book

These notes are for users and system administrators who are installing and using the Solaris 8 2/04 operating environment.
