Chapter 3 Late-Breaking News

This chapter includes information on new features that arrived too late to be included in the Solaris 9 12/03 documentation set. For information on new features in the Solaris 9 12/03 Operating System, refer to the What's New in the Solaris 9 12/03 Operating Environment at http://docs.sun.com.

The following feature description has been added to this chapter since this document was published on the Solaris 9 Documentation CD and in the Installation Kiosk on the Solaris 9 Installation CD.

sadmind Security Level Raised

To improve security with the sadmind command, the default security level has been raised to 2 (DES). If you do not require sadmind, comment the entry out of the inetd.conf file.
