DESCRIPTION
-
contrast (1M) is a binary that can be used to adjust the system screen contrast level.
OPTIONS
-
- -u step
- Increase contrast by step.
-
- -d step

-
- -k
- This is the repeater mode for the binary. The binary expects the letter 'k' on its STDIN and increases or decreases the contrast by one until STDIN is closed by the other side. This is the mode in which the binary interacts with the speckeysd (1M) daemon.
NOTES
- The contrast level is adjusted by communicating with the Power Management driver, pm (7) , through ioctls provided by the Power Management Framework.
